Check in was quick and the room clean. It was my birthday while I was there and they put a bottle of wine in our room. We were staying in room 104 and opposite there was a door which said no entry. This was constantly open and the smell of cigarette smoke was disgusting and lingered along the corridor of the first floor. It was very unpleasant to open the hotel door and be hit with the smell of smoke. Breakfast was always busy and it was a struggle to find a seat- there was always a large section closed off and it was rare to see staff before 9am in dining area. Overall it was ok but I wouldn’t rush to stay again.
