I’ve stayed at this hotel several times over the years. Its location is great and the staff friendly. This time, the reception and housekeeping staff were excellent as usual. I feel though the hotel is showing a little wear and tear and could do with some refurbishment. The elevators keys didn’t work, sometimes out of action. Bathrooms in the rooms are old and there are cracks in the paint or plasterwork. The rooms also have very old TVs which aren’t capable of being linked up To social media apps or phones - I would expect a Smart TV in a hotel in 2025 to be able to link up my social media and entertainment apps. It’s a great hotel though, great location and the staff super. I’ll come back.

Péssima experiência

O hotel esta decadente, precisando de uma reforma urgente. Tudo velho, o quarto e banheiro horriveis. Alem disso a limpeza nao foi feita nos 5 dias que fiquei no hotel. A camareira so trocava as toalhas e arrumava a cama. Nao limpou o banheiro, o chao e o vaso ficavam sujos. Roupa de cama e de banho pessimas. Até os elevadores estão estragados.

A localização desse Ibis é perfeita e tem de tudo por perto: restaurantes, farmácias, lojinhas, mercados e, claro, a praia. As ruas são bem tranquilas, mas é importante ficar atento aos riscos de andar em Copacabana. O único ponto que acho que o Ibis precisa melhorar urgentemente é a qualidade das toalhas e dos lençóis, que são de baixa qualidade. Meu lençol, inclusive, não tinha um cheiro agradável.
