Annie’s place was in a perfect location for us, with a dog friendly beach just a few minutes away. The accommodation had everything we needed and Annie was super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend.

A real gem

Superb property in a stunning location. We were so comfortable in this beautiful holiday home which had everything you could need. Ann was there to greet us with a friendly smile and she had been so accommodating during the booking process. We couldn't have asked for better and this will most definitely go down as one of our best holidays. Wall to wall blue skies and sun helped of course. Oh and of course a very atmospheric beach bar just a few yards away contributed as well. Thank you Ann for letting us stay in your lovely home with our little dog Bene. Liz and Chris Boys

Fantastic place for a family holiday we loved it 😍

Wow what a fab week we have had staying in this property, it was perfect and we didn't want to come home. It made a very special family holiday and we wished we had booked 2 weeks. Anne is very helpful, efficient and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. She made us feel very welcome. The house is very homely with everything you could possibly want for a holiday. It is a lovely property with good living space and bedrooms. The garden was brilliant and contained which was brill with 2 young children. There is a great BBQ there which we used every night as had superb weather. The island is beautiful and we thought it was such a special place to explore. The property is fantastically located only 5 mins from a lovely sandy beach which our kids loved. Our son learnt to ride his bike on the flat straight path along the beach which was brilliant. There is a great play park on the beach about 10 mins walk from the house which became a daily visit. We visited lots of the villages on the island, many by bike. The cycle tracks are amazing from the house and well sign posted. It is so flat everywhere it is very easy cycling and so enjoyable as you pass through vineyards, forests, oyster beds, salt marshes and countryside. We cannot recommend this house and location of it highly enough it is an absolute delight you will love it 😍

This was our third holiday at L'Ostreane, and it feels..... home from home. A long journey from United Kingdom, with our dog...but we do enjoy being here., in Rivedoux....!! And this gĂźte is , so well equiped, so comfortable, and very welcoming !!! This is a very special place, and anyone who has stayed here, would agree We already are looking forward, to our next holidag there !

Perfect in every way

This was our second holiday, staying in L'Ostreane, and it will not be our last ! It is perfect in so many ways, obviously location, and only two mins walk to the beach...it is extremely comfortable, sunny, south and west facing aspect, fully equiped and very well maintained and clean ....the village of Rivedoux, an easy walk, with restaurants, shops, and a good market. You will receive a very warm welcome , from Anne Townsend, the owner, who takes great pleasure and pride in L'Ostreane I am sure you will enjoy your stay there, as much as we do !

A very comfortable and attractive gite.

A lovely warm welcome from the owner Anne, to her very attractive Gite, all so well presented, spotlessly clean and very well equiped.. we had, with our labrador Jasper, a wonderful two weeks here......good restaurants and shops all close by only a short walk, and the highlight, a lovely long sandy beach, two minutes walk away......we had a car, but renting bicycles would be a great option. We are already looking forward to a return holiday here !

Sehr charmantes, ruhig gelegenes Haus mit hĂŒbschen kleinen Garten, der komplett abgeschlossen ist, so dass Hunde dort frei laufen können. Der Strand ist fußlĂ€ufig in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Die Gastgeberin Anne ist sehr sympathisch und war jederzeit ansprechbar. Wir und unsere Hunde haben den Aufenthalt in dem Haus sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder.

Unser Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Anne ist sooo liebenswert und Hundefreundlich. Das Haus liegt zentral zum Strand (300m) und zum BĂ€cker (1km). Die nĂ€chst schöneren Orte wie saint Martin oder La Flotte sind ca.15 min mit dem Auto entfernt. Dort sind tolle GeschĂ€fte und Restaurants aber auch ein schöner Hafen. Es bietet sich wirklich an ein Fahrrad mitzubringen oder zu mieten weil man im Grunde die ganze Insel mit dem Fahrrad erkunden kann - super Fahrradwege. Das Haus hat einen abgeschlossenen kleinen Garten in dem man es besonders an warmen Tagen gut aushalten kann weil ein großer Feigenbaum Schatten spendet. Das Haus ist ansonsten liebevoll und zweckmĂ€ĂŸig eingerichtet. Es ist nur ein minibackofen vorhanden-nur zur Info. Ansonsten alles was man braucht.

Location parfaite au calme

Nous avons passé une semaine trÚs agréable dans cette charmante maison rhétaise parfaitement équipée et trÚs propre.Nous avons apprécié ainsi que notre chienne Vanille le jardin ombragé. Lire sous le figuier a été vraiment un plaisir surtout avec la chaleur qui s'est invitée en milieu de semaine ! Rivedoux est un village trÚs sympa et la piste cyclable se trouve à proximité de la location.Quant à notre hÎtesse, Anne, nous ne pouvons que la remercier chaleureusement pour son accueil, sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité. Si vous voulez passer d'excellentes vacances n'hésitez pas à réserver cette maison. Je vous la conseille à 200% !

Kleines Haus mit nettem Hinterhof

Ruhige Lage, ca. 250 m zum Strand, der ziemlich lang ist und weitgehend sandig. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind auf der anderen Seite des Ortes ca. 1 km entfernt. Nett ist an dem Haus vor allem der Hinterhof mit großem Feigenbaum. Leider muffelt das Haus ziemlich, vermutlich die Feuchtigkeit im GemĂ€uer. Zwei ordentliche Schlafzimmer, ein modernisiertes Bad, ein muffeliges WC im EG, funktionale KĂŒche mit kleiner SpĂŒlmaschine.
