Booked a room through Expedia and selected the pay-at-property option. At check-in, the total was significantly higher than my original booking. When I asked for a breakdown, staff said my room had been “upgraded” without my consent. To their credit, the clerk did correct the charge and honor the original price, but it was frustrating to have to question an unexpected increase. I’d recommend double-checking your rate at check-in, as this experience made me hesitant to stay here again.

The stay was pretty good. The hotel is new and everything seems fresh and clean; however, our room was not cleaned on the second day. When we arrived at the hotel late at night we realized we did not have fresh towels or a cleaned room. Front desk asked us to come get the towels. When we asked about the lack of cleaning, the girl responded, the hotel must be really booked so your room was missed. That seems like such a poor excuse.
