Our room was very clean, newly renovated with a very comfortable bed. They were renovating other rooms at the time of our visit but on a different floor and this did not disturb us at all. Breakfast was included and it was excellent, with plenty of options. We would stay here again.

The Country In was clean and comfortable, even though part of it was under renovation during my stay. Decent fitness center and breakfast buffet and convenient to the highway yet removed from traffic noise. My room was spacious and was the most well-lit room I have ever stayed in! Good lighting is actually a big deal for the fine work I do and I will return for just hat reason.

I was hesitant to stay after reading another review from the day before that there was construction going on. But I arrived after dinner and left at 10 AM and never heard any construction. Rooms were recently redone. New vinyl floors which immediately makes everything feel so much cleaner. Hardly any bedding, but everything felt clean. The drapes don’t fully connect so they aren’t blackout for the parking lot. But was pleasantly surprised to find they have electric charging stations for Teslas and other hybrid plug-ins.

This was a very clean property inside & out. They are currently remodeling the rooms. I suggest getting a king bed as these mattresses will be replaced first. We had a queen size and that mattress definitely needs replaced. The breakfast was good. We had great service as soon as we entered the building. The staff was great to work with when letting them knkw of how uncomfortable the mattress was. I would stay there again. Roanoke is a beautiful place to visit!

Under construction noise. Not pet friendly. They can only sleep there. No pet pee pads in the room. We couldn’t leave our tiny dogs in the room to eat breakfast together. One dog had an accident in the hall because we were licked out of our room for the 2nd day in a row and had to have our room keys redone. We were threatened that if our dogs barked again we would be thrown out of the hotel. Only because someone complained. Not because they barked incessantly but because the construction work scared them. We were charged $100 for the accident on the carpet and the cleaning people said it’s just part of what they get paid for so who gets my $100? The mattress was hard and lumpy while they were replacing them in every room around us. The sofa bed is not a sofa but a loveseat size and very uncomfortable. We had to request shampoo conditioner and shower soap The trash bags are extremely small for every 3 days. The cleaning people and the breakfast people are excellent and very mannerly and friendly. The front desk treated me like what does she want now? I have taken my dogs to boutique hotels where they were treated like guests not problems. I have never been to a hotel where I had to have my key reprogrammed twice when my stay was prepaid. I called this hotel to reconfirm my stay and was not told about the extensive construction. Also Thursday pool water was warm Friday the pool heater was turned off and the water was too cold to swim. I asked the front desk Sat was warm

I imagine this normally would be a decent stay, but there was a lot of construction going on. The hotel said that noise usually started at 9 am which is one thing, but I was woken up at 7:45 by loud hammering that didn't quit...
