It is a lovely property, well decorated and maintained . It was peaceful, spacious and safe. The property is gated and there is a nice restaurant at the Verandas Hotel which is clos by. We enjoyed the inground pool everyday. We rented a car at the airport and the property is about a 20 minute drive from the airport. To travel to West Bay you need to drive for about 40 minutes because of the condition of the roads. There is a supermarket called Eldon’s about a mile from the gate where you can get everything you need during your stay . The road from the gate to the property is paved but steep and winding, we had to drive carefully. The property required a deposit in advanced to deduct the electricity we used during our stay . I knew ahead of time that electricity is expensive in the island . I will definitely rent the property if I return to Roatan .

We stayed one wk in this beautiful villa in a gated community. The house was as described and very clean. We had a couple of issues on day one: algae in pool could not access the internet. The property manager, Wendy, was extremely efficient and prompt in her responses and took care of everything right away. She is amazing! The house needs a few things fixed, dishwasher does not clean dishes at all, some stairs without railing, old BBQ. We had no hot water, Wendy sent a plumber as soon as we notified her. The tap water is not safe to drink, this should be indicated to guests. Had we not purchased bottled water on our way from the airport there would have been no water to drink at all when arriving from a long trip. There is a big supermarket 10 min. away but the roads (paved and lit) have steep slopes and lots of hairpin turns. The villa has its own outdoor garage space. The community has a beautiful outdoor pool/bar, and access to a nice, small beach with chairs/umbrellas. The pool facilities are not part of the rental, we were not charged, (low season). Electricity is not included: A/C cost under $200 for the week we did some cooking. The golf course was in decent shape. There are 2 very good restaurants in the hotel within the community. We also recommend Ikigai in the French Harbour nearby.You will need a car if you stay here. You will need to book all water activities like snorkeling,as it is very hard to access beach in West Bay unless staying at hotel/condo.

Spectacular view of golf course and bay. Verandas hotel and beach club at walking distance (10 min walk). Infinity pool is great, good size and surrounding palm trees provide privacy. Only thing to keep an eye on is energy consumption ($0.39 kwh)..
