Outside was unkempt. Grass growning a little wild. Signs on property broken, and door upon entry broken and appeared have been for awhile. Staff very friendly and inside hotel was clean.

It was just ok. Had a small coffee maker in the bathroom and coffee packets but no coffee pot. Bed covers were thin. No blankets in the room. Theft must have been a major issue because there was a sign in the bathroom stating that missing blankets would be a $50 charge. (We didn’t have to worry about that since we didn’t have one to begin with.) Hotel is in sore need of updating. There was plenty of parking, though, because hardly anyone was there. Same for the casino. Slots were a no-go. Did not have a single win while gaming there. We did go to a couple of the other casinos and did better. For a few dollars more we could have gone to Gold Strike. I think we’ll try that one next time.

The rooms are dated and half cleaned. Casino is nice although the craps table was never opened. Smokey Joe’s dinner and breakfast was good but expensive.

Tunica…. Ghost town

Hotel is very clean, beds super comfortable. Tunica isn’t what it used to be & it was almost like a ghost town. Front desk closes at 10 pm & when we went to check out there was a sign saying to find security guard to give keys to. Very sad seeing these older casinos fade away. Hotel is very very clean but you can tell they’ve given up trying to maintain some of the building and structure.
