The ac was making a loud noise when we first got to the room. I went to the lobby and reported it. Instead of moving us, they sent maintenance. He disassembled the unit and replaced the blower and reassembled the unit. That didn't resolve the issue so he disassembled it AGAIN. We were just sitting the room WAITING. We needed to shower and dress for scheduled dinner. After an hour of waiting in the now hot room, I went down to see the manager - who spoke no English and wanted to use phone translation app. He got someone else so I could explain my situation and they moved us to another room. I know the hotel was 40% booked because I heard them discussing it when we were checking in so why not just give me another room when I first reported the issue. Also, we are in USA...WHY am I have to communicate via translation app to a business manager at a hotel?

When I checked in it was around 9pm after a 5 hours drive. We were exhausted and the front desk staff was very nice. I am sorry I forgot your name. This property is at a Great location to restaurants. The beds are comfy. My shower happened to have mold in the corner. The housekeeper was able to remove some but not all after I notified the front desk staff. Not sure how the other showers look. They were unable to move me due to my bed choice being “sold out”.

Comfortable hotel

We reviewed many hotels in the Rock Hill area. The Tru by Hilton filled all of our needs. The location was perfect. We were greeted by a very friendly staff. The breakfast had lots to offer. Our room was clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay again.
