I've stayed at Accra Beach Hotel several times over the decades. Their service and attention to detail have slipped severely. No one seems to care about their job or the happiness of the guests. There were no smiles, no greetings made, nothing. The food was mediocre at best and slow. Our dessert didn't arrive even after they were reminded of it. No apologies given.

Despite some of the reviews this hotel is fine. High room for a family, shower good and always warm water. Excellent location, straight out onto a beautiful beach. Loads of places to eat locally. Would stay again.

The property is located in a great area but it needs to be updated. Our phone didnt work. The hair dyer didnt work. Only a few outlets in the room work. The toilet, ran. The hotel needs to be updated .There was a guy by the name of Damien who was so great and helpful. Very pleasant guy.

Loved our stay. Second time back. Room wasn’t ready at check in but staff were great and took care of it quickly. Love the beach access and the views are beautiful. Property is lovely. Rooms are dated but clean. Our vacation wasn’t to stay in the hotel room it was to enjoy everything around us. Will definitely return.

I booked four rooms for my family at Accra Beach hotel for four nights. Two of those nights I did not have a working shower. I only realized this the following day (took a morning shower), and the response to this was quite slow, to say the least. It was only after I returned from errands on my third night that this was address by putting me in another room. Beyond the issue with the show, I found other things to be a bit outdated (soap dishes in all our room were rusty and moldy, for example). Rooms were also not cleaned consistently, and soap, lotion, etc. were not replenished. I was grateful for the gentleman who was attentive and understanding of my issue (especially concerning the shower). To note, no refund nor discount was offered. Aside from this I have many positive things to share about our family's time in Barbados. I would most definitely return to the island, but not to this hotel.

This was my first time to Barbados. This resort is really enjoyable. Nice pool with direct access to the beach. I would stay here again. I would highly recommend.

Property is beautiful, my only complaint will be lack of entertainment on property. No music by pool / bar. No evening entertainment options on the property.

Horrible experience stay away from this hotel!! Never again I want to experience service like what I experienced at the Accra hotel. The front desk people take their sweet time and tell you one thing that they will do and don’t do it anyways. All they kept saying is shortly, check in was at 3pm I was checked in at almost 5 pm, ridiculous nothing was offered to us for this issue. Meanwhile I’m already paying for the hotel since 3 but not getting their services. Then the other day the water stopped working the toilet didn’t flush no water was coming from the sink or shower. Like seriously how am I supposed to get cleaned up or use the bathroom. And again they never offered anything for these major issues. Another thing is that during my entire stay not once did room service come and clean or refresh the room didn’t give toilet paper nothing. Then when we ran out of toilet paper it took them over 30 mins to bring a new roll. What kind of hotel service is this???!!!! At the beach there were no workers to put out the beach chairs or umbrella we had to drag the heavy chairs ourselves I felt like I was doing some labor work setting that up then rather being on vacation.
