A seventeenth-century residence steeped in history, the Ferme-Manoir de Cochefilet once belonged to Sully's wife. Listed in the supplementary inventory of historical monuments and carefully restored, it has retained all the authenticity of its original architecture: half-timbered walls, old terracotta tiles and generous volumes.

The restoration, carried out with a high standard of quality, favours the harmony of natural shades and the use of excellent fabric and furniture editors, mixed with pieces found in flea markets and auctions.

The comfort is at the height of the place: top-of-the-range sanitary equipment with cast iron bathtubs, retro taps and vanities from the early twentieth century. The rooms have double beds of 180 × 200 cm and single beds of 90 × 200 cm, offering excellent sleeping comfort.

The house benefits from a particularly quiet environment, in the heart of a farm located at the end of the hamlet, open on one side to the fields and on the other to a farmyard still in use. Thanks to the thickness of the walls, the house naturally remains cool in summer. It is heated from the beginning of autumn by a wood pellet boiler.

Manoir pour mariage

Nous avons réserver ce manoir pour pouvoir être à proximité de la salle de mariage qui se trouvait à Sainte-mesmes. Le manoir est très bien équipé, on y retrouve tout ce qu’il faut pour s’amuser entre amis et passer un bon moment. Je recommande ce logement avec un propriétaire et un intendant très accueillants. Merci pour la confiance.

Superbe séjour

Grande et tres belle maison, accueil très attentionné. Chambres ultra confortables (literie top) avec plusieurs salles de bain, très appréciable quand on est nombreux. Belle cheminée et, belle surprise, un magnifique sapin de Noël décoré nous attendait dans le salon. Séjour en famille très réussi ! Un grand merci au propriétaire pour les échanges avant le séjour et à Thierry pour son accueil sur place.

Tres bueb sutye, anebage et gere, Le seul probleme est l'aabsece de douches et de rampes de seucrite. Il suffirait d'install des barres verticales et des rideaeaux pour que toute les baignoires soit accessibles en toute securite. Thierry le gardien a ete particulerent aimable et tuoujours pret a ous faciliter nos demandes. Donc, tout etait parfait sauf les salles de bain qui devraient etre moderniser et plus accessibles auxvacnciers ages ou handicapes.

Magnifique

Nous avons passé un magnifique week-end entre amis dans la ferme. L’endroit est magnifique, parfaitement fidèle aux photos de l’annonce pour ne pas dire mieux. En plus il a fait très beau et nous avons pu profiter du magnifique jardin. Tres bel accueil à l’arrivée et grande facilité et flexibilité aussi bien à l’arrivée qu’au départ. Aucune contrainte pour un moment très relaxant entre amis. Ah! Et les enfants ont aussi adoré. Plein de jeux, des balades, des champs de blé à perte de vue. Superbe week-end. Un grand merci!

Nous nous sommes installés avec toute notre famille (14 dont 6 enfants) dans la ferme de la plaine et avons passé des très bonnes petites vacances. La ferme est unique et a été restaurée avec beaucoup de style. Des salles immenses et spacieuses, des nids d'hirondelles aux fenêtres et à l'extérieur, au-delà du grand jardin où vous pouvez tout faire, l'immensité des champs et du ciel, et plus loin les bois. Très joli weekend !

Nous étions un groupe de 10 personnes avec 2 enfants en bas âge, et avons tous passé un excellent weekend ! La maison est magnifique, conforme aux photographies, et vraiment confortable et charmante. Nous avons en plus eu la chance d’avoir du beau temps et ainsi profiter du jardin pour manger dehors, au pied de la vieille tourelle en pierre. Les hôtes ont été très accommodants et particulièrement gentil dans l'organisation les jours qui précédaient et pour la remise des clefs le jour même. Tout notre groupe recommande chaleureusement de séjourner dans cette superbe ferme fortifiée !

Nous avons passé un week end mémorable pour l'anniversaire surprise de mon mari. Tous nos invites ont adore les lieux. Nous étions 12 et avons adoré absolument tout : l'accueil la gentillesse des gérants et propriétaires, la souplesse sur les horaires de départ et bien évidemment les lieux qui sont encore plus sublimes que sur les photos. Je recommande ce lieu sans réserve. Impossible de regretter son séjour ! Gloria

Superbe!!!

Comment ne pas être enchantés et ne pas inciter à aller faire un séjour à la ferme de la Plaine? On y touche du doigt la vie de château en gardant un aperçu de la ferme beauceronne céréalière. Une atmosphère qui allie la Terre et l'Histoire. L'arrivée y est impressionnante: la masse de pierres, la tour carrée, les douves, les lilas en avril, entre plaine et vallons. On y découvre un intérieur vaste et plein d'élégance qui marie la tommette, le lait des murs, l'escalier monumental, les colombages, le mobilier choisi avec goût, les éclairages. Rien n'y manque y compris dans la cuisine! De l'espace intérieur pour l'intimité ou le regroupement de toute une famille avec enfants et petits enfants. Et l'extérieur pour s'ébattre. Le service est hôtelier puisque nous avons trouvé les lits faits! Et tout cela à portée de Paris, de Chartres, Fontainebleau et Illiers-Combray! Carrément superbe! Nous reviendrons! Enfin je terminerai par l'accueil souriant et efficace et la disponibilité de Chrystel et de son mari qui s'est escrimé dans la nuit avec le chauffage récalcitrant en bout de course!!! Bravo à tous pour porter une telle attention à "notre" patrimoine! Gilles et Marie-Anne.

Beautiful home in a quiet locations

The Gite is beautiful and the rooms are enormous! Plenty of bathrooms and everything is very well furnished. We had two families (10 people) staying with children aged from 2 to 15. We fitted in very comfortably, and found the two reception rooms downstairs to be very useful. Roinville is in a quiet area but within easy reach of Paris and many other towns and attractions. We loved Chartres and the Base de Loisirs in Etampes. Chrystel is very helpful and we are very happy to recommend this fantastic home.

Génial! Foncez!

Nous avons passé notre nouvel an entre copains dans cette magnifique demeure, et c'était simplement parfait ! Les chambres sont spacieuses, les lits confortables, les salles de bains spacieuses et fonctionnelles, la cuisine et le grand salon parfaits pour y passer des heures à jouer ensemble au yams ou aux cartes.. La cheminée de 1787 ou les poutres apparentes dans toutes les pieces n'y sont pas pour rien :) Chrystel et son mari vous y accueilleront avec le sourire, avec gentillesse et avec plein de bon conseils pour les courses à proximité, les loisirs ou les sorties. Nous avons pu aller taper quelques balle de golf au Golf de Marivaux ou nous faire une expédition sur la capitale en moins de 40min, tout simplement génial! Si vous souhaitez bénéficier du calme de la campagne et vivre la vie de chateau, tout en étant aussi proche de Paris, foncez, ce manoir est fait pour vous ! Nous y reviendrons sans aucun doute. Avons passé un excellent WE avec 3 couples d'amis à Roinville sous Dourdan. Les prestations de cette ferme fortifiée sont très haut de gamme - type "Relais et chateaux" par la qualité des rénovations- Tout est de très bon goût. Footing dans les champs de blés, balade à Dourdan, cité médiévale - barbecue et transat. Beaucoup de caractère dans cette grosse bâtisse...C'est la vie de chateau! Le tout à 1 heure de Paris. Accueil très prévenant et sympa

"Nous avons profité de ce gîte pour les fêtes de fin d''année, entre amis, et vraiment, nous en sommes revenus plus que satisfaits !!! Magnifique demeure avec des prestations haut de gamme, et plus belle encore que sur les photos du site ! Grandes chambres et pièces à vivre très agréables, qu''il s''agisse de la cuisine (pratique et bien équipée !) ou du vaste salon / salle à manger (la cheminée monumentale est splendide !). Grand plus : un accueil charmant, Chrystelle et son mari ayant très grandement contribué à la qualité de notre séjour ! A RECOMMANDER... et y retourner !"
