Very nice rooms and affordable. My room had a mini fridge which was nice. Staff was very kind with high integrity, I left my wallet laying on the check in desk and the staff put it in safe keeping for me. Thank you so much.

Fantastic stay.

Our stay was for The Rally at The 100 Acre Wood March 13th and 14th down in Potosi. Our room was clean and tighty and the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was was fantastic one suggestion though, need better lids for the coffee cups and thats just a minor thing. We did lose power for about an hour because of storms and toronto warnings but I'm from Missouri and its nothing new. Anytime we travel I'm leary of what will the hotel be like when they are inexpensive like this one. But by the reviews Im glade i chose this one and will stay again next year.

The room was being remodeled, it was mussing the door safty latch, you had to be a stronf armed person to ooen the door very difficult to open to get out. When mentio ed to staff they blew it off.

Our room on a cold winters night.

Stop at nite and it was one below zero outside. The room was good. A little dated but good. But after we unloaded the car into the room. Found out the heater did not work and there were big gaps around the door that the wind was blowing that negative 1 degree weather right into the room. The staff was great at attending our needs and getting someone right away to check the heater. Still didnt work so he moved us to the next room where the heater worked great in. He brought a window blind into the next room to put over the door to help keep the cold air out. We moved next door and had a nice warm nights sleep. The staff felt bad about what happened and were very helpful and quick responding to the problem.

Safe stop over

Easy check in and check out. Breakfast was simple, but decent for the price of stay. Several little flaws, but overall it provided a safe feeling place for our overnight stop and we had no issues with checking in with our dog. Provuded first floor pet friendly accommodation but outer area was lacking a designated area for pets to walk.

I have stayed here multiple times...

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions. The room is always spacious and very clean. The couch in the room is very convenient. The beds are also very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful if we need anything. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the St. James, MO area.

Terrible. My door was open when I got to the hotel room and I told the front desk and they were not concerned at all. My locks did not work properly on my door and my phone did not work the whole time I was there.

Excellent? Yeah right.

The price should have tipped us off that this motel wasn't high quality. But, the reviews were saying "Excellent" so we thought maybe this place was a diamond in the rough. Nope. The Greenlight is a grungy refurbished motel just off the Interstate. The rooms are small and not well lit. The heating didn't work well (and was loud). The breakfast showed only a token effort by the staff. And, because we were traveling with our dogs, we were put in a "dog room." Needless to say, the high traffic of dogs in a few rooms gave the place a smell. Out in the parking lot, a few semi-trucks idled through the night. Honestly, I can't believe reviewers say this place is exceptional. I guess you get what you pay for.
