In Quadraro, in fact, youthful street art and vivid memories of the war come together. It’s a veritable open-air art gallery featuring a large number of murals—ranging from wasp nests to human faces, from fantastical subjects to political themes. The area is also located near one of the most famous examples of Roman architecture: the Parco degli Acquedotti. Here stand seven aqueducts, including the Claudian Aqueduct, one of the most important in ancient Rome.
