Quaint and modest little hotel in the middle of the Trevi historic area. It is primarily a bedroom with a private bathroom, which is attached to a public space with tables and a kitchenette if needed. The Trevi Fountain is practically a walk around the corner. You'll find many fantastic restaurants in every direction, and two gelato stores just across the street. We only interacted with Zara, who was friendly and helpful during our entire stay. This part of Rome is old and historic, so don't expect modern amenities or upscale experiences. This is more of an adventurous and cultural immersion, with notable sites and authentic cuisine.

It’s a beautiful palazzo-hotel located just two blocks from The Trevi Fountain…. It’s quiet, cozy and peaceful and it’s been in the family for five generations…everybody was very nice , respectful, and polite.

This hotel was great! We were so close to the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. There were souvenir stores, a gelato store, and restaurants all around as soon as you step foot outside the hotel. Would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It's a nice tourist class/pension type of place which is very clean and well maintained. It is located right in the middle of the city (between the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain), and is very convenient for tourists like us who are interested in seeing as many sites as possible. Even though the hotel is located in a busy and loud part of town, our room was very quiet at night. While it is not a full service hotel (the front desk closes at 7 pm), our room was made up every day, and kept spotless. The staff are very kind and helpful. So, if you are traveling to Rome on a budget and you want to spend less than you would on a four star, luxury property, this hotel is perfect for you. We loved it!

The "new" Rome city-center 1600's-built Maison turned-hotel fit our preference for historic accommodations. You must be OK with that era's size and character; however, the Arpinelli had modern bathrooms, room-controlled air conditioning, and exquisite museum-like decor. Pristine cleanliness with daily housekeeping. Upon check-in, we met the owner, Tamara and her husband. They delightfully told the story of the Arpinelli. There is a lift in addition to the stairs. Card key access for security. They offered us car service reservations to the Airport which reduced the hassle of obtaining it ourselves. Amenities consistent with historic accommodations; many restaurants right outside the hotel. Cab stand two blocks left. English spoken. Photo is looking out onto the Via della Panetteria from inside. Grazie Mille and Arrivederci!

Absolutely loved it here. The location is right in the heat of everything and yet a little oasis. The room has everything you need and the high ceilings make it feel spacious. Some notable highlights: the communication from the staff was excellent via WhatsApp and the shower was really nice, didn’t want to get out. We will certainly stay here agai.

A wonderful location! Exquisite staff. Very clean hotel, excellent location. The only downside was the noisy bottle recycling in the middle of the night woke us up nightly. If you are a light sleeper, it can be a bit disturbing..

The front desk clerk, Macarena, was extra helpful and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and activities. The room was cleaned well every time we indicated we wanted it cleaned and they left it alone when we did not. Excellent location if you intend to walk to most of central Rome, 30 minutes to just about everywhere. Would recommend this property to anyone.

Macarena is wonderful and very attentive. She anticipates our needs and offers solutions before we even asked. The bottle of wine we received as VIP guests tastes better than we expected. The cleaning ladies also did great jobs and very accommodating. We will stay here again.
