I would have liked to give the hotel a better rating as we liked the modern vibe, the staff were very helpful and the breakfast was good. However, there were a few things that we think are worth pointing out. Firstly, the city view is actually a view of the trees along the bank of the Tiber. Without the trees it would have been fantastic but.... The person who helped us to check on on the screens in the foyer gave us what he said was the best view too, so no point complaining about that. I also think some older people might have been very put off by the fact that the main way to control, lighting, temperature etc was on an ipad. This didn't worry us but I think more could have been made of this in the description. Most importantly, although one picture does show this, we were perplexed to see that there was no space at the sides of the bed to so you have to shuffle up and down to get in and out. As a 70 year old with back problems this wasn't ideal and my husband didn't find it easy either. I think this should be flagged up in the description. Only one place to comfortably sit as well. So, a nice hotel but better for younger people than oldies like us.

Our room had too little room. Almost no tables or shelves for stuff, same for bathroom! Bed felt like it was 1 foot off ground. I use a small, mobile walker.. so I guess we were in ‘Accessible’ room.. placed the furthest from elevator ! In an attempt to look chic and modern.. thet try to run everything with iPads! Marriott will do better.. who are the recent new owners.

The hotel is in an excellent location, very clean, quiet and safe. Just the occassional siren but all hotels have that. Staff are amazing and the facilities are well kept and seem very new. Staff are highly attentive. The rooftop bar is serve yourself using your room key which is very easy and convienient.

This is a 'no-frills' hotel with all of the basics supplied, but no extras. I was in a single room with queen bed attached shower - modern, clean and comfortable although there was liitle free space for luggage. Breakfasts were excellent.
