The most difficult part on this property is getting a taxi especially since it's a one-way street. We used the app FreeNow to get our taxis which that app worked well for our location.

Five star family gem

This property is absolutely brilliantly managed, by a friendly and efficient team who will WhatsApp with you ahead of arrival to ensure things go smoothly. The apartments themselves are clean, large, and brilliant for a family stay. Ours had a HUGE outdoor terrace with a lounge area AND a dining table. Perfect for catching some morning sun at breakfast. The property is slightly tired, seen in little things like the fact the bathroom mirror has eroded edges and the shower tray is worn out (but still very clean). If you are looking for opulent luxury, this isn’t it. If you are looking for the absolute perfect place to stay with kids, near the Colosseum and a ton of perfect family friendly restaurants and coffee places, this is your spot. I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else on our next trip to Rome.

What an amazing place, with an amazing host. We were 3 children under 10, parents and grandmother. The apartment slept us all easily, beds comfortable, kitchen amazingly well equipped. The absolute icing on the cake was the garden, pool and garden room. It was great for us as it’s totally safe so the kids could be in the garden room watching tv / playing games, without us watching over them. The host is fabulous and went above and beyond to make sure our trip to Sicily, and our stay in the apartment, were the highlight of our Italy tour.

We were very pleased with our decision to stay at Colosseo Gardens. The admin were accommodating and the apartment was clean, spacious and well supplied. The location is amazing, quiet & safe and walking distance to the Colosseum, metro, bus/tram, supermarkets, and Termini train station. We would definitely stay there again on our next trip to Rome.

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment in Rome! The location was absolutely perfect—just a short walk to the Colosseum and conveniently close to nearby metro stations, making it easy to explore the city. Getting into the accommodation was hassle-free, and the out-of-hours service was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to familiarise us with the area, including nearby supermarkets and key tourist sights. The apartment itself was spotless and very comfortable, with fresh linens and towels provided. The bathroom was well-stocked with essentials like toilet paper and hand soap, and the kitchen had everything we needed for our short stay—dishwasher, microwave, fridge, oven, and even a washing machine. A very clean and quiet apartment within enjoyable walking distance of numerous tourist attractions, restaurants, and shops. The ower is very friendly and helpful. Although smaller, this apartment cost us a lot more per night than another My Extra Home apartment we stayed in near the Spanish Steps during this trip
