Pros: location is amazing! Property is in perfect spot. We had the suite and it was amazing, even had a balcony looking over the plaza. Room was great! The front desk was very helpful, they helped us get cabs and restaurant suggestions and really helped us navigate the city. The breakfast and staff at breakfast is great!
Cons. Elevator is small, holds 4 people and they have a nice rooftop bar that’s open to the public so you find yourself waiting a long time to get to your room and it’s 100+ degrees in the elevator.
The staff. Not front desk but everyone else. They would cut to get on the elevator and make you wait. Huh!? Many times the staff brining things to the rooftop would cut you off and take the elevator bringing ice, food etc. Maybe they couldn’t tell the difference from people staying and people off the street but they were not courteous at all. Almost rude. I’ve never had hotel staff act like this before, super strange and rude. Not what you would expect from a $1k per night room. Not up to standard for such an expensive stay.
We decided to leave 3 days early, tried to get even a partial refund for part of the stay and they were not accommodating in the least and did not give any slack. Very disappointing considering we were told maybe one of the multiple nights would be refunded but after leaving they changed and said no.
