We had a very nice stay at this hotel in Rome. The staff was extremely attentive and welcoming, and the room was spotless and comfortable. The location couldn’t be better — just a short 2-minute walk to the Colosseum, with a beautiful full view of the Ludus Magnus archaeological site right from the hotel. The only minor issue we experienced was that the air conditioning wasn’t working properly during our stay, so we had to sleep with the windows open on a few nights. As a result, we could hear some noise from the bar downstairs, but it really didn’t bother us much since we were always tired after long days exploring the city. Overall, it’s a great place to stay — clean, convenient, and run by a friendly and attentive team. I would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Rome who wants to be close to the main attractions.

Great location next to the Colosseum and close to the metro line. Lively area. Room is better insulated than previous hotels I have stayed at around Italy but there are a couple of bars at the street level so it might be a bit loud for some that are looking for a quiet night sleep. Overall a very good stay! Also a great restaurant that provides a discount when staying at the hotel.

Nice spot for a quick stay in Rome

Nice location right beside the colosseum. Check in was very easy and bed was comfy. Only complaint is you can hear everything in the hall as it’s a small space.

A lack of any staff on the premise even though there was communication about a check in time, had to get the hotelier from the bar next door. No clean towels each day, the humidity of somewhere in the 80% range. Shower floor extremely slick, no bath mat to increase footing. Generally just a lack of apparent caring for customers, because no one was there. My first trip to Rome years ago, spoiled me as the hotelier coordinated tickets and a cab to the opera for us. Was always on site.

The place is well located in front of the coliseum and the staff from the restaurant down stairs were nice and helpfull. The 2 things I will recommend them is the cleaning,the floor was not cleaned since we went barefoot and it was dirty. And the noise was too loud, they should state in the facility features that the noise is loud until 2 am every day.

Second choice hotel due to cancellation

This hotel is in a great position with lots of restaurants around it the only gripe I have is the blind was not dark enough to block out the sun in the early morning. Otherwise our stay was great

We had a wonderful stay at the First Floor. I would recommend it highly to any couple traveling. Right above a restaurant/bar but the sound proofing of the room was incredible! Can’t bet the location of the room! The room was so clean, and comfortable
