Great location - 5 mins from Termini and 20 min walk to Colosseum. Grand old hotel however the lifts need attention - we frequently has to walk the 5 flights

“Standard” Rome hotel; dated rooms and certainly not worth a premium cost based on amenities, room level and mattress. Service and staff are both very friendly and efficient and the proximity to the train station was great.

1. The ceiling was damaged and leaking, and leaked above the water station/kettle area where we placed our baby bottles for sanitization. This water from the ceiling dripping was completely unacceptable and the state of the room was not what we expected. 2. The room was not ready upon us arriving, but front desk still gave us the key and asked us to wait in the room while the cleaner finished. we did this, but the cleaner rushed and we found later that night the room was not cleaned sufficiently including finding dirty chewing gum in the bed.

Charming hotel in city central. Friendly, helpful staff. Delicious restaurants and lovely rooftop bar. Stayed just one day before embarking on a cruise but would certainly recommend this hotel for a longer stay as well. Enjoyed an entire full day in Roma! Thank you Golden Tulip!

Very convenient, met all of our needs. They were wonderful! They accommodated us with our luggage before our check-in. And also accommodated our luggage post check out so we could sightsee before leaving Rome. The staff was so helpful and absolutely the best!!

Golden tulip

Very comfortable, convenient to everything to get to any sightseeing, restaurants and walking to public transport. Bars and breakfast fantastic in the motel.

I’m giving this hotel a mixed review, and honestly, it’s only saved from being terrible thanks to the kind lady at the front desk who helped me switch my original room. She was polite, accommodating, and made me feel welcomed, which I appreciated. My rate was $300 per night! No pocket change Now, onto the spa experience—what a disaster. The whole point of a spa is to relax, but instead, I was met with attitude from the staff. I arrived about an hour and 30 minutes before closing, and the lady working there acted like I was inconveniencing her just by showing up. She was visibly annoyed, and her mood completely ruined the vibe. She mentioned there was tea available, but the tea was cold and old. When I asked for water, she got mad, which was honestly shocking. If you’re looking for a relaxing spa experience, this is NOT the place. I wouldn’t return for the spa, but the front desk service was good.

This hotel is very convenient since it’s close to Rome Termini, but the location felt a bit sketchy. On the positive side, the staff was amazing—very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the room itself was extremely uncomfortable. The air conditioning was an issue: we traveled in July and saw a sign saying to call the front desk if we needed AC. When we did, they told us it was already set as low as possible. The room stayed hot and stuffy, and we barely slept. On top of that, the mattress was horrible and the pillows were just as bad—making it impossible to get any real rest. We tried opening the window, but it faced an alley where trash trucks came by collecting garbage, which was very loud throughout the night. To make things worse, the water never got truly hot, only lukewarm. Overall, while the staff was excellent, the lack of sleep from the poor mattress, pillows, AC, and constant noise made our stay very unpleasant.
