HOTEL ABRUZZI

Pros: Location, bathroom and friendly staff.
Location: Opposite the Pantheon - all the sites of Rome are on your doorstep... galleries, ancient buildings and piazzas and restaurants.
Hotel is in fabulous location. Room was small but very clean and well appointed and maintained. Bed was comfortable. Nice bathroom. Staff friendly and helpful.

All about location

Pros: Staff
Hotel Abruzzi has an enviable location with an unrivalled view of the Pantheon. It is a beautiful thing but also a detriment. The Piazza only has one gear; full throttle from about 8am where it transforms into a theatre, concert arena, a thriving market and photography studio all in one. In other words it is very noisy until late at night. Thankfully most of the performers are quite talented, however our baby didn't entirely agree. The rooms are clean. air conditioned but very small, yet you have everything at your doorstep. The staff were very helpful and accommodatingto get the lift . You have to climb the stairs to level 1 as it does not got to the ground floor. It must be noted that the buffet breakfast at the restaurant across the Piazza is unremarkable. If you are looking for a room in this class of hotel its pretty good if you can deal with the noise. With a young child we will definitely step up a class in hotel next time. In saying that it does represent good value at the price.
