Hotel is a refurbished older facility located in an ideal central city location. It is close to shopping and restaurants. It is ideally located to many Roman antiquity sites that are within easy walking distance. The hotel itself is very basic and lack some basic amenities like adequate electrical outlets and storage for luggage but is still comfortable and the staff are mostly friendly and willing to assist with any request we had.

Our room was newly renovated and slept 4 comfortably. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Was a bit surprised by the "cash only" city tax. Neighborhood was a bit livelier than we tend to enjoy.

It was good for our stay - except it was very warm and they wouldn’t let us turn on the AC. The elevator was small so we had to take turns to use it with the luggage. Guest Service was good. Did not know the tourist tax was cash only and they were adamant. Had to spend time trying to get cash out for it.

Great stay at the hotel. Perfect for a few nights in Rome as you're busy out and about exploring the city. Room was on the smaller side but did the job. Bed was comfortable, smart TV, clean bathroom with a powerful shower. Overall I would recommend this hotel

Though my stay in Rome wasn’t great the staff at the Hotel Centro Cavour did their utmost to make my bad situation better. My wallet was stolen and they were able to alleviate my fear that the thief could get to my things in the room. The staff was understanding when reissuing a room key for me. And later that same day when I took a bad fall the staff helped me with ice. Then after checkout my American insurance card had fallen out of my bag so they contacted me right away to work out a way to get it back to me. All in all they made my stay better with help when I needed it and an awesome restaurant recommendation for Benso. If I ever return to Rome I will definitely stay here again.

Good location, uncomfortable bed. Reviews and star rating would lead you to believe this is upper end hotel. It is just avg. They also charged my room for water without telling me it is not free. This is water from kitchen area not room fridge, which is normally not free. I just hate these tactics where you have to ask what is and isnt free and they dont offer info. Bed sucked, was tired daily. It is very clean though.
