Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
This property, entrance and Flat is quite disgusting. We were genuinely excited about this trip and chose this property based on how it was presented on VRBO. Unfortunately, our experience did not match the listing, and we left feeling disappointed and misled.
Here are the major issues we encountered:
• Dishwasher was broken and never repaired, despite being advertised as a key amenity.
• No hand towels or paper towels were provided for the first two days.
• Flat was not properly cleaned—the floors and furniture were dirty upon arrival.
• Refrigerator worked only intermittently and we had to wiggle the cord to get it to turn on. Some of our food spoiled because of this.
• Only one set of towels for four days, forcing us to wash and reuse them daily.
• Building entrance was dark and felt unsafe at night, with no lighting until we eventually found a switch—but even then, it shut off before we could reach the flat.
• Shower had visible mold and the water pressure was extremely low, making showering uncomfortable.
• Every night around 1 a.m., loud noises from dumpsters directly below the windows kept us awake as people threw bottles and trash.
Overall, the property did not feel properly maintained or accurately represented. With the number and seriousness of these issues, our stay fell far below reasonable expectations for a VRBO rental.
