Just perfect!
We hesitated between two of Salvatore’s properties. Based on our criteria, he ended up recommending this one, and he was spot on: we absolutely loved it. The location is just perfect, in the heart of Trastevere. It’s both vibrant, but calm at the same time. Vibrant because there are two nice restaurants just below, and when the windows were open at night, we could hear the nice background noise of people laughing and enjoying themselves. And calm because in the morning, it’s the sound of birds that greeted us.
The apartment was very roomy, and was beautifully furnished. The beds were also very comfortable (among the most comfortable during our 3-week trip). I mentioned the (nice) noise coming from the restaurants, but if you want complete peace, you just close the very modern thick windows and you get near perfect quiet.
Salvatore offered us an airport ride, and we took him up on this offer. That was a great decision. The price was reasonable (let’s not forget the airport is almost an hour away from Trastevere).
Salvatore was also very responsive whenever we had questions.
All in all, I would highly recommend this apartment for its amazing location, its large size, and the friendliness of the owner.
