This is a great place to stay if you plan on visiting Rome. My wife and I were in Rome two days before a cruise. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. We had plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from. The small staff was very helpful. The room was very clean. It’s not a big hotel so you won’t have some amenities you can expect at a large hotel, but we didn’t care. We had a nice, clean room, walkable to all major sites, we had all we needed. The only place that wasn’t walkable was Rome Termini to catch a train to the port. The good news is there’s a taxi stand within a block from the hotel. We would definitely stay there again.

Very sweet, unique hotel. The morning staff was very friendly and accommodating with breakfast. Our room had a lovely little terrace overlooking beautiful scenery: an authentic side street and local restaurants and charming old buildings and roof tops. One minor consideration is that the bathroom had a glass door and lacking privacy to room guests. Overall a fabulous experience and would stay there again!

Amazing Hidden Gem in Rome

Me and my husband came to Italy on our honeymoon. Le suite de Barone was amazing for our stay in Rome. It was hidden away but in a beautifully central location a short walking distance from most sites. The room including the balcony was really beautiful and the service was wonderful. All of the staff there were so kind and accommodating and the provided breakfasts were amazing! Would more than recommend!

Great location for walking to dining and historical sites. The staff were all very welcoming, efficient and polite. The property was very clean and the room was spacious and and comfortable. The included breakfast was also good. We enjoyed the terrace off our room. The property is a bit quirky as it is just 6 rooms and a small reception desk on the fourth floor of an old residential building. The owner did a very nice job converting the space into comfortable rooms and modern bathrooms. The bathrooms are a little different as they have an open ceiling into the bedroom and glass window to the room from the shower, with a blind. Overall not quite as private as we are used to. But the bathrooms were modern, spacious and clean. Note the elevator is slow and small. Also the desk is only staffed until 2:00PM. All things considered we found the room to be very comfortable and a good value. We would stay again.
