Great hotel in the middle of everything!

We were quite pleased with this boutique hotel. Great service, tips, and friendly staff that wants your experience to be a fantastic one! Rooms were spacious and comfortable and the bathrooms were huge which isnt common today.

The hotel is at absolute prime location. Trevi fountain, Pantheon and even Colosseum is walkable (25min). We booked a double suite. The rooms were clean, staff is super friendly. Would recommend this to anyone visiting Rome.

As soon as you walk in the place is beautiful. The location is perfect with so many options to eat and shop. It very walkable from the Spanish Steps and other landmarks. The staff were so amazing! They remembered personalized details about me. As well as offering great recommendations around the city. The room was spacious and clean. I also loved how hot the water got as well. The restaurant attached was delicious, it was one of our favorite meals in Rome. I’d definitely recommend this place to everyone. Next time I go to Rome I will be back here!

The location was fantastic. Just around the corner from the Spanish Steps in a wonderful, vibrant neighborhood with restaurants, shopping, etc. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and did everything in their power to make my stay wonderful. This is an older building but the hotel had been carefully integrated into this historical building. The room, with a few quirks, was very pleasant and comfortable. We loved our stay here.

This hotel was amazing and a hidden gem. I recommend it highly. The staff was wonderful. I speak Italian so I did not need many services from them, but I heard them relating to English speaking clients and they were so helpful getting them rides and restaurant reservations and whatever they needed. They were very friendly. The room was wonderful and even though I read that some people felt it was noisy because of the location I was even able to keep my windows open in high travel season, and it was no problem whatsoever. You can walk to everything from here and I would gladly come again. five stars!

Highly recommend…have stayed here in the past. Great location, walkable to many sights and shopping. The staff are wonderful and the new restaurant is a winner. Rooms facing the street can be noisy so light sleepers should ask for room facing the back of the hotel.

Really had high hopes for this boutique property. Had a lot of things going for it including excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, and nicely appointed rooms. Unfortunately we were on the 1st floor and the noise levels from the restaurant downstairs were very bothersome as they went on well past midnight.

The staff are so helpful, caring, and so professional. They are willing to help with literally any questions asked. I would recommend anyone stay here. Located in the restaurant and shopping district, don’t be expecting peace and quiet. There’s a tonne of energy and action going on here. We loved it and we would definitely stay here again.

Love this hotel . 10/10 for me .

I have only good things to say about this hotel , its my 5th visit there, i go there every 2-3 years and every time it is excellent. First the reception, very nice , very helpful, try to do everything for their guests. Cleanliness, very clean hotel , every day cleaning and replacing sheets. Location is amazing, walking distance from every attraction in rome and near alot of restaurants and food attractions. They did renovation and open a restaurant in the lobby. Next time in rome i will stay there again.

Convenient location with nice amenities.

Well equipped hotel in a great location with lots of food options, shopping and supermarket. Minutes from Spanish steps and near to Trevi fountain. Only downside is the noise from eateries and cleaning crew in the early hours of the morning.

Pros: 1.Bathroom was excellent. 2.The room was quiet. 3. Most hotel staff was helpful Cons: 1. Deceptive advertising. The expedia photos show a different hotel. Mario Dfiori 37 rooms are above a noisy bar. Checkin is at the bar. 2. The listing shows elevator access. This is incorrect. The elevator did not go up to our floor. The stairs were an unexpected issue because they were narrow and steep. 3. The stairs were dimly lit and a loose handrail along the stairs is dangerous. 4. Our hotel room had different levels with stairs connecting different parts of the room. 5. The sloped ceiling was low. There is a danger of banging your head in the ceiling. Height is approximately 5 foot in the bedroom on one side 6. The elevator was too small to allow larger people to use it and it does not go to all rooms. 7. The person checking us in did not seem to want to show us how the lights, air-conditioning or power worked in the room. Overall the hotel is not suitable for seniors or those with limited mobility or small children. Finally, the hotel charged a $12/night room tax upon checkout however, the room tax quoted by City law is $7.50 per night.
