Great hotel with a great location

The Hotel Princeps was a great hotel. Location was fab about 20-30 minute walk to most places obviously Vatican City was a lot further to walk. The hotel was clean and the air conditioning was great after a hot day walking around Rome. The rooms were big enough for a couple and the beds and pillows were memory foam and very comfortable. The breakfast was perfect with scrambled eggs & bacon on offer every day along with toast, cereal, fruit and cold meats and salad stuff. Plenty of restaurants walking distance from the hotel. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others

Princeps Hotel - Lovely Oasis in Rome

Princeps Hotel was a lovely oasis in the Monti neighbourhood in Rome. I arrived early and they let me check in and even upgraded me to a larger room. They also let me enjoy breakfast given I was leaving the hotel at 5 a.m. the following day. The room was clean and nicely decorated. I felt extremely safe and each staff member I spoke to was helpful and friendly. There are many dining options within a 5-10 min walk. I highly recommend this hotel if you are in Rome for a couple of nights.

This is a little gem of a boutique hôtel. The staff bent over backwards to help us. Rustam and Christiana amonts many were so friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast included. Close to many of the sites we wanted to visit. We would definitely recommend.

Hotel Gem

This hotel room was spotlessly clean and quiet. The room was average size for Rome and very comfortable. Great amenities. Nice breakfast. The staff was friendly and very helpful. There is just a little sign at the entrance to the building that you have to watch out for as you are looking for the address. No big awning or signage. There is a lift to the 4th floor. Location was perfect - right across from Saint Mary Major Basilica and close to Termini and metro- perfect for our 2 night stay.

The hotel is at walking distance from train station, shopping and historical sites and museums. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. Although it was just a one night stay we really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend this hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay, however the one big issue was on the facilities it said bar and this was the one thing I was hoping for. There is no bar just coffee and water. Saying that the staff were lovely snd helpful, the room was small but lovely, the breakfast was also very good. The whole venue was clean and well kept.
