Great place to stay in Rome

Great location, clean rooms with a comfortable bed. Staff were very welcoming and were really helpful giving us lots of great restaurant recommendations. We had a lovely stay.

Staff was very friendly, very helpful. I had a flight was delayed in Rome days after I left their hotel. They stored my luggage for free while I toured around around with my family during the time my flight was delayed. Hotel is clean perfect location. Air conditioning works well.

Great service

Closely located to the ruins. The area is very touristy, but, the hotel feels safe. The rooms are small, but well-appointed. There was a problem with the hot water. We were on a time schedule, so took cold showers, but, I assume that this was a 1-time experience. The service was above and beyond though! Insisted on taking our bags to our room, gave us good information, and, I was even brought an unexpected birthday treat!

Great location!

It is in a great location you can see the colosseum out the lobby door. The room we got moved to was a little noisier than I expected. I don’t know if we had gone with the room we booked if it would have been better. The front desk is very nice and helpful.

The property was the perfect location to the colosseum. View right from the street. Easy walking to places. Smaller rooms, but we didn’t spend much time in them anyways.

Was only there for one night so when we arrived we dropped the bags off and went out for the evening but at a quick glance everything seemed ok (like I said, quick). We got back late and got into the room where we noticed an odd smell which wasn’t that strong at this point as the hotel left the window ajar/open so we couldn’t tell what or where it was. Being late with an early start we just wanted a to got to sleep. Well as the night went on and trying to sleep the smell got stronger and stronger! By this point and only being there for one night there wasn’t much we could do about. After assessing in the morning we could only put it down to the bathroom/plumbing as that is where the smell was the strongest and really overpowering. Bathroom on closer inspection was also not the cleanest with a very small extractor (no window in bathroom) which must of added to the issue. In short we were glad that it was one night as that was enough for us.

Scalding hot shower

The sink, shower and even toilet water was scalding hot. When we called the front desk and asked if there was a trick, they told us we were above the boiler room and to run it for 5 minutes and it would cool down. It never really did. The rooms and bathrooms were also really small. But cute ambiance.

It is close to Colosseum with several restaurants within walking distance. The staff is friendly. The building is old, like most in Rome, but well kept. There is no elevator and the rooms are small for American standards, but normal for European countries. .
