The only positive about this apartment was its location. The shower didn’t drain, the washing machine didn’t work, the stove didn’t turn on, the fridge was noisy, every dish was dirty and sticky and needed washed before using. Basics like dish washing soap, paper towels, a dish towel, or napkins weren’t included. None of the dishes matched. I could go on… When I contacted the property manager about the shower, the owner showed up unannounced. She then sent her mother over unannounced. When I asked if we could at least get a $80 refund for using a laundering service I was told, Absolutely, yes!’ After a few tries to collect I gave up. This place was fairly inexpensive but it was a dump. It had a kitchenette at best. At least it had a working toilet!

Fantastic location and value

Overall, this booking was excellent. The host was responsive to my messages and the key pickup was on time and friendly, even though my flight was delayed. The air conditioning worked well the entire time. Water was hot and the pressure was great. Fridge was cold and worked well. It is on the third floor and the steps are high and a bit uneven but this is normal for an old building and we expected that - it would not be good for someone who has issues with stairs. It looks into the inner courtyard and is very quiet. One set of towels per person, one set of bed sheets provided. Lots of blankets if necessary too. The bed was a little hard but perfectly fine. The host’s images are accurate. Lots of restaurants immediately next door plus several gelato shops and convenience stores nearby. Cavour subway is extremely convenient. Definitely would stay there again.
