The hotel was OK, 4* by today standards. The breakfast was OK and sufficiently diverse. Service was good. The worst feature was the bathtub/shower. It had a very tall rim difficult to climb for me and no holding bars. Very dangerous with a soapy floor for any senior person with any kind of limitation. The best feature of the place was the front desk that was always helpful.

Great place!

This hotel was very nice! The bar had two musical performers and they were amazing! We were going to bed after dinner but we had to stop in to listen to them. The bartender also made VERY tasteful drinks! Staff was very helpful and polite. Location is great.

Our place place to stay in Rome.

This is our Goto hotel in Rome. Even though It is a little outdated, its in a great location within Rome. Near the Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Palantine Hill & Forum. The rooms are clean, staff is very helpful. Shout out to the bartender. I think his name is Marcel. But I could be wrong. He was awesome. Fun to talk to. He gave us several tips on where to around Rome and his opinions on each place. They let us store our luggage for a night while we went to Florence. Then actually had it delivered to our new rooms. Waiting for us in the room when we returned. Morning breakfast is always good and refilled as needed. Did a little karaoke one night with some live entertainment. Other than the rooms being a little outdated. This place is a 5 star. They just seem to get it at the Rome Times Hotel!

Rome Times Hotel Stay

The hotel staff was very helpful. Front desk staff was able to accommodate us by keeping our luggage for one night as we made a short trip to Florence. One person who made a huge difference was the bartender (I think his name was Manuel but I may have misheard). He made a huge impact one evening when there we not many customers. He shared much of his knowledge and experience with us. It gave us a much better understanding of the local culture and history. VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!! Some items to note about the hotel. It can be a bit noisy and similar to other comments, there are costs that are not really identified in the pricing. It would be great if those are included when identifying costs per night. I will know better to ask for our next stay. Overall, pleasant stay but staff was outstanding!!

Stayed in the annex building so needed to go to building a few doors down for front desk and breakfast buffet. Room was good, comfortable bed and a little outside terrace area attached. Bathroom vanity area short on space and a very small shower. Air conditioning was not turned on for the season yet so room was warm and too noisy outside to leave window open at night. Staff was excellent and willing to help with any questions and recommendations!

night porter needs customer training.

First night was terrible. The tv was not working and when the lights were out the flashing red lights of the smoke alarm were very bright and so we could not sleep. Rang the night porter who was very rude and abrupt . When we complained , the manager changed us to another room and all went very well after that. My wife was so shocked about the night porters attitude I hope they will give him some extra training to improve his manners .
