We stayed 3 nights at the apartment. Have stayed in Roma 2 other times but near Termini. First the drawbacks. The host was very clear that the apartment is small. It really is quite small and suitable only for a couple that travels light to very light. As is often in Europe, the bathroom is tight. The location is very good but expect to walk most places as bus service is not good this side of Tiber. By the time you have walked to the appropriate bus stop, you are near your destination. Don't even think of parking without trouble. Now the good. The apartment is well furnished, well stocked and well decorated. The host was fantastic. He was concerned that the bed was too small, but it is slightly larger than US double. There are lots of Trastevere tabernas, etc just 10 to 15 minutes away & with good food. 15 to 40 minutes walking gets you to most of the major Roma sites. Tho' tight, there was enough room to function properly. It was quiet in the apartment. And, no small matter to us, there was a sheet under the duvet. We are more comfortable with a sheet as the duvet is often too hot. If you are looking in Trastevere, this apartment is close to most places of interest, not in a big noisy building and with a great host. (We down-graded because of the bus problems).
