From skiing on the 3000-meter high glacier, even in August, to hiking, mountain biking, rafting, canyoning, and ballooning, there is something for everyone. Explore the famous Cailler chocolate factory, visit the impressive castle and medieval village of Gruyère, or enjoy a day at a typical Swiss farm with cheese manufacturing and a traditional Swiss dinner. There are good surprises waiting for you.

Guest Access:

The house is a few minutes from the lake and the river and you can enjoy many treks all over the mountains.

5 parking spaces are waiting for you outside the door together with a complete private road. It is a very calm and isolated area, with no neighbors.



In the village (3 minutes drive) you can get anything you want or need, and the train station there will connect you to any point in Switzerland and Europe.

The Neighborhood:

Touching nature everywhere, this isolated old Chalet is unique and in the middle of the great Region of Gstaad - Rougemont - Chateau d'Oex - Gruyère.



Getting Around:

Train to Rossinière.

Then 1,5 km by car or taxi. Walking is an option for the ones who enjoy it.



Other Things to Note:

The Heidi Chalet is a real authentic experience and we are doing our best for you to have a unique mountain experience like you have never had before. You will feel the 350 years of life in this house and that's really amazing, you'll see !

Some ceilings in parts of the Chalet are a bit low, that's part of the charm of your experience.
