This house is set in woodland which provides a superb location for those wanting to relax. The house is well equipped and has a good sized pool, a hot tub and a sauna. The location between Annacy and Borget lakes make it a perfect base to explore. You can get to either lake in about 20 minutes. Local amenities such as super markets, petrol station and other stores are only 5 minutes away. It was 38 degrees Celsius when we were there. The house doesn’t have air-con (it is clear in the listing it doesn’t) so be prepared for the house to be warm. This is not a negative of the house, just something to be aware of. The house has a massive garden with a river and small waterfall. It means you hear running water 24/7 which adds to the calm and lovely ambiance of the property. There was broadband and a full sized pool table - which our children loved.

Short notice holiday - worked out great

This was a very short notice booking and the owners were very helpful to sort this out. Another location had fallen through for us and we all had leave booked. Our children also had flights booked (Geneva) so at short notice (3-4 days) we needed a house for 6 people. The owners did their best to help us out and we appreciate that. Comms with the owners a bit patchy but not their fault - the house is rural so not much phone signal. House in a lovely location - very pretty. Sitting outside by the pool beautiful (very hot) and lost of time spent splashing about. Very convenient for Annecy/Chambery/Geneva. Inside of house - a little quirky but that added to the fun & interest. And we left a coat there which the owners mailed to us free of charge. A very enjoyable week
