I booked a premium king, arrived in the middle of the night, hauled all my stuff up to my room open the door and it’s a Queen. That’s not the end of the world, BUT I did pay for a king room ahead of time. . They did give me another room, but at 2am after hours of traveling, it was a huge hassle. There was no parking at the hotel, there is a garage in the area but that’s a long haul taking stuff back and forth to a car. I’m a female traveling alone so it wasn’t ideal. They do charge to park. So look for packages that include that. It is a short stroll from the coliseum, which means some cool stores and food. It also means it’s really loud. Late at night. The hotel itself has the worst soundproofing I’ve ever experienced and it was really awkward walking down the hallway with my nephew in the middle of the day listening to people enjoying their vacation, if you know what I mean. It was convenient being close to the venue, other than that it was not a good experience for me other than the STAFF. The coffee maker didn’t work in my room, they don’t have room service (despite it being an option on the room phone, yet another confusing thing here) so the girl at the front desk went to the restaurant and brought me a pot of coffee. That was one of the kindest acts I’ve come across in a while. The staff was all friendly and helpful. 10 stars for the staff!
