Lovely Idyllic French countryside cottage, with 3 bed 1 bath. Surrounded by 3 acres of private land, you are completely secluded in this property, and can enjoy a solitary get away, but also the benefit of being 5 minutes from a major supermarket, doctor, post office and town that has a lovely little market once a week.
The property features a large outdoor dining area for summer evenings, and a built in fire pit BBQ.
You are at the top of a hill so enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, and also benefit from all day unhindered sun.
3 Minutes drive to the Megalithic site: Menhir de la Roche and 5 minutes drive to La table au diable (the table to the devil). 15 minutes drive to Parc naturel régional et Géoparc Normandie-Maine. 1 hour drive to Mont Saint-Michel. 1 hour 15 minutes drive to Seaside and Grand Aquarium Saint Malo.

A tranquil retreat

If you are looking for peace and isolation in a rural hideaway, this charming cottage is a wonderful retreat, with self sufficient, back to nature feel. A simple, but very fitting level of comfort is provided, and the property has many amazing quirky features (note very steep stairs). The personality of the owner shines through in the design, and we especially enjoyed the covered outdoor eating area. We loved the whole experience. A balm for the soul!

Peaceful holiday

Wow, what a place simply beautiful with the incredible outside area to relax the night away. Quirky charming accommodation with enough space for a family of four. All in all a wonderful peaceful break which is what we were looking for. Price reflects the property.

A cosy place to relax

The 'gite' in St Aubin Rosse Louvain is a hidden treasure. The house is cosy and authentic, just enough for a family of 4. Check-in went smoothly, and such a lovely surprise that the beds had already been made. The outside dining area and the relaxing deck are the real assets of this place. Just perfect for reading a book or chilling during apéritif. Fruit Trees provided us with daily fresh prunes and the nextdoor cows in the meadow were pleasant company. The property could do with a little bit more maintenance, however. Some basic kitchen utensils seemed to be missing, so it takes the right attitude of the guests to see past these minor flaws. All in all we had a wonderful time in St Aubin Fosse Louvain. Recommended.

Zeer mooie locatie.

Klein huisje op mooie locatie. Echter, netheid in keuken en badkamer zijn ondermaats. Buitenterras dient als eetruimte. Bij slecht weer een nadeel. Mooi groot terrein, maar niet onderhouden.
