Lovely house with pool

Overall a great holiday home in a peaceful, relaxing country location. Approx 30mins drive to the coast resorts of Fort Mahón and Quend and 8 miles to major supermarkets. The 2 bathrooms and only 2 toilets were really inadeqate at times for 4 adults and 5 childen. We really enjoyed the outdoor space and the pool and jacuzzi were well used.

Good vacation

Overall the accomondation was nice. We loved the swimming pool and jacuzzi, although the weather was about 20-25*C. It was a nice house with enough space for a friend group of 8 people. The house was loud. You can hear it through the whole house when people talk and walk loudly in the upstairs living room. Unfortunately, the pool table was not playable because the white ball was missing and the table is crooked. The two showers and the two toilets were enough for us. The beds were fine. The kitchen was good but missed some small equipment such as a proper scissor, cutting board and a sharp knife. Some equipment was unhygenic (water coocker because of the chalk) but this was not disturbing. There was plenty of space to place a medium sized car in the garage. The washing machine and dryer did their job. Three (!!!) fridges were present. Qua location: We went to Montreuil (~15 min), Boulogne-Sur-Mer (~45 min), La Touquet (~45 min) and Calais (~60 min). Good looking cities with various stuff to do and good restaurants. Two supermarkets (Carrefour and Aldi) were a 10 minute drive away. The location of the house was quiet: no neighbours and next to a quiet street. Perfect! Qua owner: Very friendly, speaks French and a little bit of English (good enough for the introduction and to answer questions). Via Whatsapp we could contact him if it was needed. He also suggested extra's such as a beer tap and massages (however, we did not want it). Overall, we had a nice vacantion.

Maison magnifique

Très belle maison, très bien équipée et aménagée avec beaucoup de goût. La piscine...une merveille. Nous avons passé un week-end extraordinaire avec nos enfants et nos amis. Propriétaire à l'écoute et très réactif.
