Nice accommodation, don't recommend the restaurant

The accommodation was very good. The restaurant was expensive and the waiters inflexible. When we asked for a vegetarian option we were told the meat would be taken off the dish and more vegetables added! We had to send back the first plate of pork because we couldn't cut into it - neither could the waiter!

Nice place to stay

Hotel located in a beautiful castle with an enjoyable garden. The decoration is classy and modern, the staff is helpful and the rooms are very comfortable. Nice place to visit the Pilat natural park or the cities of Lyon and Saint-Etienne.

Beautiful hotel on lovely grounds. The only negative was the man at the check-in desk. Although my husband speaks French, the clerk felt he had to get a young intern chef from the states to translate for him and us. The chef was a lovely young lady who put up with this, although I’m sure she had much to do in the kitchen. We were unable to eat in the restaurant because it’s booked for weeks in advance. It is a Michelin starred restaurant. The bed was very comfortable.

Un site formidable oĂč nous avons passĂ© un week-end en famille inoubliable pour les 30 ans de notre fille. La restauration est extraordinaire et nous laissera un souvenir impĂ©rissable. Le personnel tout en Ă©tant discret a su faire preuve de professionnalisme pour nous conter les plats crĂ©atifs de leur chef. Un peit bĂ©mol pour l'une des chambres oĂč nous avons trouvĂ© les contenants entamĂ©s du gel douche et une boite de mouchoirs en papier vide. Cela ne nous a nullement gachĂ© notre sĂ©jour que nous ne manquerons pas de renouveler.

TrĂšs beau chĂąteau, calme est bien situĂ©. La chambre est spacieuse, avec une literie confortable. Il manque peut-ĂȘtre de quoi poser sa valise, une armoire et des cintres en plus. La restauration est parfaite, un dĂ©lice pour le palais et des dĂ©couvertes de nouvelles saveurs. Par contre l'ambiance est trop sĂ©rieusebet pesante, des sourires et des Ă©changes avec les convives, en dehors du passage de commande et de l'encaissement, seraient les bienvenues.
