Horrible restaurant with abusive pricing practices

Suberb hôtel with very poor restaurant. This level of hôtel and restaurant offered average quality food but the quantity served and the prices were abusive (twice what you would pay on similar restaurants in Europe) to say the least. We will not be back at this hôtel, strictly due to the practice of the restaurant.

My husband and I enjoyed celebrating our anniversary at this hidden gem. The room was pretty, comfortable and well-appointed. Dinner in the restaurant was exquisite, exactly what you expect from a relais et château. We stayed in January. We relaxed in the outdoor hot tub and sauna. This will be a regular get away for us.

Poor service, great dining.

I left my stay feeling pretty disappointed. The staff wasn’t very friendly, hardly anyone said hello. The room service wasn’t great either. The only things they really did were change the towels and rinse the coffee cups. I had asked for a fridge before arriving, but it wasn’t in the room. When they finally brought one, it was dirty and unplugged. The bathroom door didn’t close because it was off its hinges. I told the front desk, and they just asked if I was okay with it, but nothing was fixed. The bed wasn’t made during my stay, which has never happened to me before. When I asked why, they said it had been a busy day. Honestly, that didn’t feel like a good excuse. It made me feel like guests were being ignored because other events were more important.
