We were on a house hunting expedition and stayed with Corinne and Alain for 2 weeks. They are the kindest nicest people you shall ever meet. Their property is in fabulous setting by the river and laden with flowers and herbs. Quiet and tranquil. Peaceful. If you love to cook outdoors, the bbq set up is fantastic. There are 2 great butchers close by and a patisserie. Lots of daily markets in different villages close by and stores like carrefour and Intermarche for other items. Lots of hot water for showers and well equipped kitchen. Lots of glasses and plates. Nothing else to say except we bought a home and intend to stay in contact as friends in the future. Best hosts and people ever. Beautiful property and setting.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The house was so quiet and comfortable and a great base for exploring the area. Our host, Corrine was very kind and thoughtful. We loved her fig jam - delicious. Despite the rain, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed our walks along the Dordogne.

Idyllic stay in a paradise setting

First of all I have to say A Gros Merci to Corinne and Alain. They were so helpful and generous. Lovely people!! The house was beautiful and well equipped. We had everything we could possibly need. There were plenty of recommendations for things to do in the area and lots of brochures that really helped us plan our day. The area around the house, the patio, and the views were absolutely beyond beautiful. Cute little town of Castllion nearby, vineyards to choose from and close proximity to St. Emilion. Highly recommend this place!!

Quiet, calm and relaxing but still close to everything.

The house has been well renovated to a high standard. It is very comfortable and in a great location so that there is peace and quiet but still close to all attractions. The hosts are friendly and left us really good provisions to get started and a welcome pack including wine and necessities. Highly recommended.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli, la cuisine est très bien équipée et l’environnement fleuri nous a enthousiasmé. Accès aux services (épicerie, boucherie,..) nécessite auto. Belle terrasse dont nous n’avons pu profiter totalement à cause de la température.

Gîte idéalement situé pour partir à la découverte du magnifique pays du Libournais.

Difficile d'ajouter quoi que ce soit aux commentaires élogieux déjà exprimés par celles et ceux qui ont eu le bonheur de séjourner aux Cerisiers. Cependant, ma compagne et moi avons particulièrement été touchés par la confiance que nos charmants hôtes, Corinne et Alain, nous ont accordée dès notre arrivée. En fin connaisseur qu'il est de sa région, Alain nous a prodigué de précieux conseils pour apprécier pleinement les mille et unes facettes qu'offre ce terroir viticole ô combien célèbre. Quant au gîte en lui-même, il dispose de tout le confort nécessaire pour que vous vous sentiez comme chez vous. Ces quinze jours passés à Sainte-Terre, loin de l'agitation des villes, dans un cadre champêtre incomparable, nous ont véritablement permis de recharger nos batteries. Encore merci à Corinne et Alain.

Rust en ruimte!

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. We hadden een contactloos incheckmoment. Bij binnenkomst stond er wijn en water koud. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en is heerlijk ruim. Buiten is een hele fijne veranda waar je lekker kunt bbq-en en eventueel genieten van schaduw. In de grote tuin kun je ook overal de zon opzoeken. De gastheer en gastvrouw zijn erg aardig en geven indien gewenst tips voor uitjes. Als ik één min-punt moet bedenken is dat de douche. Er kwam erg weinig water uit de douche en hij is erg krap. Een verblijf in deze gite is absoluut een aanrader

Au calme

Nous avons passé quelques jours au calme au milieu des vignes dans cette maison coquette tres bien equipee. Le grand abri (du soleil !!!) est un vrai plus pour etre a l'exterieur. Les hôtes sont charmants, tres serviables et prodiguent de bons conseils. Un havre idéal pour visiter l'Entre deux mers ou la region de St Emilion.

Maison très tranquille, avec une superbe terrasse pour les beaux jours. Le logement est décoré avec goût, il y des jeux de société et des livres pour tous les âges et tous les goûts. Seul petit bémol sur le ménage car il y avait quelques toiles d'araignée et un peu de poussières sous les meubles.

Superbe cadre

Superbe cadre pour ce charmant gîte au bord de la Dordogne. Le logement est confortable ( literie au top) et chaleureux. La terrasse couverte est un atout indéniable. Les hôtes sont très discrets mais réagissent au quart de tour en cas de besoin. Un gîte à recommander pour des vacances en famille ou des week-end "au vert" dans une prestigieuse région viticole.

Gemütliches, ruhiges Ferienhaus

Das Haus steht auf einem riesigen Grundstück, das von Wein und Maisfeldern umgeben ist. Wer gerne abseits vom Trubel, umgeben von Natur weilt, der ist hier absolut richtig. Die Betten waren bereits bezogen und saubere Handtücher lagen Bereit. Für Babys gibt es sogar ein Gitterbett. Die Küchenausstattung ist sehr gut. Ein besonderer Pluspunkt ist der gemütliche Wohn und Essraum. Dort befinden sich zwei Regale vollgepackt mit Büchern für jedes Alter. Vor allem Reiseführer über die Region waren sehr hilfreich. Bei gutem, warmen Wetter kann man auch unter der großen Veranda entspannen. Ein Gasgrill steht zur Verfügung.
