This property is old and needs some serious tender loving care. The property grounds need to be manicured, because grass was knee-high. The front desk is only manned from 11am-4pm, and when checking out from your room during non-operating hours, there isn't a dropbox for your hotel key (an actual key, not a key card), which required me to find a safe location behind their unmanned front desk, to leave my room key.

Very friendly receptionist and staff, great to be so close to the beach. Pool was out of service my whole stay which was the reason i had booked it, so that was very dissapointing, hopefully it got fixed soon...

I like the location right on the beach. I like the price. I like that the restaurant is now open and the bar will open soon. I like the air conditioning. I didnโ€™t like that the housekeepers did not clean and replenish daily. The pool looked dirty. The closets were old. The twin bed was squeaky. There is a television but no cable TV.

Second home

Hamilton hotel is very well located for shopping and is an old well established hotel in a very mixed neighborhood. I first stayed here over 40 years ago and have stayed many times since. It received a complete renovation in 1988 and is still well maintained. Most of the staff speaks fluent English and are all very friendly. A very good value for the cost.

Just beach side hotel

Hoter location is near beach, silence. good for beack walk and snorlel. One thing we were disappointing, the instruction of Hotels.com, shows "everydays house keeping", but no house keeping seivice , no wet towel change, so we asked to do it from our side, and they do twice during our 5 nights stay. Front staff is frendly, so good for casual and simple stay. good wi-fi condition. Better you have your own rental car, otherwise no access for down-town area.
