Marriott Hotels & Resorts - accommodation in Salem

I went there for the pool and the pool was great. The hot tub was currently out of order which isn't that big of a deal because the pool was awesome. But from the moment we got there things just weren't right. When we got into our room we opened the pull-out couch and it was full of crumbs and dirt. Then we got the pull out linens and there were yellow stains on them and they were obviously not clean. We called the front desk to ask for another one and they brought us a little sheet thingy that had no warmth. Then we decided to go to the restaurant. We waited quite a while until someone came to see us and then we sat as the only people in the empty restaurant. The waitress was very kind and did her best to help us and made every accommodation. However, certain parts of the meals that we tried to order on the menu were not available. Then there were several flies in the oil in our oil and vinegar. Then when our meals did come they did not include all the ingredients that had been listed in the description. There was mold in the the creases of the inside of the shower. And the room was neat and tidy but was clearly run down stained wallpaper etc.

Everyone and everything was great

This was our second time visiting and we had a great time. The only thing we were kind of sad about was they no longer have the basketball court my kids were sad about that. I also would love to see newer arcade games at the recreation. I would recommend this to any of my friends !!
