Great hotel

I found the decor to be tired, especially in my bedroom, but the hotel was exceptionally clean throughout and every single member of staff was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The TV in my room didn't work, but I was offered a drink drink voucher as recompense. The food was lovely. The views were amazing, although the Geese did keep me awake.

Average rooms but value for money

Visited for a weekend trip to Manchester and to watch a game at Old Trafford. The hotel staff were professional and the welcome was as expected from hotel staff. The rooms offer the usual, tv, kettle and hairdryer, iron and ironing board. My main point of negativity is the quality of the rooms, the decor is very dated and the bathroom in a poor outdated condition. The other thing that was dissatisfying we had only one single plug point available in our room (417). We had to unplug appliances like the kettle to be able to charge my wife’s phone. Not ideal when you have two or more guests in a room.

The hotel is a 15 minute walk to Old Trafford and is probably the only reason why one would elect to stay here. It's old and minimally furnished. There's no heater/air conditioner, so you are relying on the natural temperature and a fan provided to cool the room down. Suitable for minimalistic 1 night stay for a game

Out dated. We were told check in was 2pm so that's why we booked it as we had an event to go to - the lady at the check in was extremely rude and told us she knows it says 2pm but in fact it's 3pm and we can't check in. This made us late for our plans for the rest of the day and we even had to cancel one of them as we wouldnt have been ready in time. Her attitude and unhelpfulness really annoyed us. The rooms are dated and basic, not what I'd expect from a 4 star. The bed was really uncomfortable and I burnt my hand washing them, not expecting the tap to get hotter than the kettle!

Good hotel

It was very close to the O2 Victoria warehouse which I was attending. The hotel is pleasant, the room was a fair size. Bed and pillows comfy. There was no climate control in the room, but a fan was provided. A fridge in the room which is always handy. Overall a pleasant stay.

Overall the experience was quite good, we had received a larger room than anticipated and the staff were friendly. My only concern was the presence of a plug socket near the main bed was non-existent, making it difficult to use the provided fan.

Property is old and dated, light streams though the side of the curtains, reception area is OK but the actual bedroom looks like it has never been updated, shower area still rocking that 1990 vibe but the shower did work. For the price I paid it was overpriced and wouldn't stay again.

Really enjoyed our stay here, parking was free, bonus, close to bars restaurants, hotel staff great. Would definitely recommend. Next time were in manchester will definitely be booking here.
