6/10 Okay

Pros:
Great location, edge of the city and 20 mins walk to the centre and also to Salford uni. Really lovely pub just over the road.
Ample car parking which felt pretty safe as it was immediately outside the hotel (additional charge but could be booked and paid for online in advance which was handy).
Welcoming staff
Clean and comfortable bed.
Didn’t have a strong smell of anything e.g. smoke, cooking etc
Cons:
Paper thin walls. Not the fault of the hotel but one night I was kept up until past 11 with a kid running and screaming up and down the hallway outside my room. Woken by guests leaving and doors banging early in the morning.
Tiny bathroom. Nothing wrong with it, just a bit too claustrophobic for me. No real space between the toilet and shower really which was fine for me as I was travelling solo so didn’t need to get dressed etc in the bathroom, but could be an issue for multiple occupants I guess. Nowhere to put toiletries in the shower so had to keep opening/closing the shower door to get shampoo etc.
Small and basic tv which only showed live tv (no smart tv capabilities for app streaming etc).
Would I stay here again? Yes, absolutely! For the price it would be hard to beat in terms of location and guaranteed parking. But if I had a bigger expense budget I’d go elsewhere with soundproofed rooms and a smart tv to relax in front of in the evening.
