This property was under a bit of construction so the layout was challenging. Any doubts I had about the hotel immediately dissipated when I met the front desk staff. He walked outside to help us find the check in desk, directed me around the construction and was beyond helpful. The rooms themselves were great. Bathroom was spotless and beds were comfortable. They also included the basics like a hair dryer, tv and wifi. Once the updates are made I imagine this place will be in such demand!

First off, on the Expedia website this property was not listed as under renovation. The bar and restaurant were closed which was my major want. The whole hotel smelled like weed in every floor. We came in late after a baseball tournament and people were smoking weed in the lobby with no care who saw them. Meanwhile the front desk person was hanging out with them. I had to walk my son through a cloud of weed smoke. Although the room was supposedly remodeled recently, wallpaper was already peeling off the bathroom wall and the shower drain barely drained. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Wyndham and La Quinta should offer full refunds for this nasty hotel.

No cold water in shower, Only very hot. when cold was turned on, no water would come out. Pool was closed, staff said they did get chemical right. No Breakfast, Staff said they could not find the key to unlock the breakfast room. first floor fire alarms were wrapped in plastic, because of construction. Only 1 elevator was in use. On a positive, the renovated room layout and furnishings were nice.

Disastrous to the tenth power!!!!

Where do I start? First, I called ahead of time to ensure that I received a roll-away bed. At the time of arrival I was told that they do not carry roll-away beds. Then when I arrived at the room. There was dirty linen on the floor of several rooms in front of the door. Also, there was no coffee at breakfast and the breakfast had an 1/2 late start. Also, the hotel smelled like weed. Elevator had graffiti and was not clean. Also, my door did not close and exposed our room. There were no phones in our rooms, and I asked if I could have the toilet fixed and never received service. The walls were dirty in the room and shower was not clean. Also, we had decorative pillows and not regular pillows. The refrigerator door would not open. Also, I told them that it was 4 of us. They gave us towels for 2 guests. Lastly, the pool was unavailable because that too was dirty.

The place is a neverending construction site and the pool was out of order eventhough we were told several times before arrival that it would be open. We also had an ant infestation in our room and later found out that the hotel houses countless homeless individuals and families.

I get they are renovating but that should have been disclosed. No pool, no Game Center that was shown. No breakfast since the staff lost the key. Smelled like pot. Homeless sleeping around the parking lot and if u dare had to park out back the lightning was poor and as a women with her 2 young kids it was very scary. I would never stay here again nor would I suggest anyone else do the same

Under Renovations since 2022 and still messed up - shower wasn’t working (all hot water), electrical outlets weren’t working on one side of bed. Loved the pet policy $25.00 and we loved the all 100% LVT WIDE PLANK BINYL FLOORS. Coffee machines were broke and phone lines were not functional. Hotel Rates were very favorable. GREAT MAKESHIFT BREAKFAST NOOK AND FOOD WAS GREAT TOO!!!

My stay was very unprofessional, unsanitary and aweful, aweful customer service. Manager April is the worst. Im nit sure what this world has come to with allowing someone with her attitude and unprofessionalism to even work there and interact with the customers. My ADVICE, NEVER EVER BOOK A STAY AT THE LAQUINTA BY WYNHAM @ 300 South Salisbury Blvd, Salisbury, Md 21804. They are renovating the facility. But my opinion they need to renovate their STAFF AS WELL. The worst ever. I have stayed in hotels all over the world and I have never been treated so rudely, nor have I ever dealt with this level of unprofessionalism. Attorney and Too level of Managment for the Franchise have been notified. DONT EVER BOOK THERE!!!!! Part 2 with updates will be posted.

We just stayed Thursday to Sunday and it would have been nice to know before paying all this money that the hotel was in the middle of major renovation and did not have a bar or arcade on site (pictures and description show it). We were told free hot breakfast and the first morning there was no milk, coffee or orage juice just apple juice and cold sausage. The staff was very nice, but I wish we would've known about the renovations before I paid over $600 for a few nights.

Friendly staff. Hotel is under major renovations. Room was mostly clean. I’m sure when renovations are done and the hotel is properly staffed things will improve. Hallways stunk of weed. Guests were noisy. Saw one spraying room spray into the hall because clearly partying and smoking in there. Garbage in hallway. Piles of garbage and dirty bedding in hall.

It was under renovation, but we had no warning of this. The pool could not be used. The tv did not work, and it took 3 trips to the desk to get the WiFI to work. We were told that there would be a hot breakfast 6:30am to 9:30am. We arrived for breakfast at about 7am. The dinning room was locked and no one was around to ask what the problem was. The desk told us that the key to the dinning room could not be located earlier, but that they had finally found it, and that breakfast would be available soon. We had had it by that time, and left to get breakfast elsewhere. We told the desk attendant, that we thought that a discount should be given for all of the inconvenience, but we only got excuses. No more staying at La Quinta for us. Oh, and the newly renovated room we were in had unfinished switch plates, unattached base boards, flawed painting, and paint tape. Very unprofessional.
