Check in was terrible for a VRBO. We did not receive check-in instructions prior to check-in time at 4:00 PM, despite numerous requests to owner, so we were left standing outside in a less than stellar neighborhood. At least the owner could have responded to state there were no early instructions. We had to contact VRBO directly to get owner to send instructions. This is unacceptable. If we had not received instructions within a very short window we were going to cancel and demand refund. We have never had this problem with any other VRBO. Additionally, the unit was cheaply furnished: No washcloths, the single dingy dishwashing sponge was disgusting, the top of the fridge was very dirty (I cleaned it!). The coffeemaker should have instructions, since it was extremely hard to figure out how to use. Only two coffee k-cups were provided. Parking should have been explained in VRBO listing as "free, on-street parking". All in all the feeling was that of stinginess by the owner.Would recommend against this rental.

This apartment is in a great area! Just a few minutes away from different shops and restaurants, and anything farther is still a nice, straight walk down the road. The room was clean and the bed was soft, which was great. It would start getting kind of loud pretty early in the morning because of the train right outside the window, but nothing earplugs couldn't solve. I had to ask for check-in instructions and never received check-out instructions, but Adam was immediately communicative when I asked. There is limited street parking, but the building has a gated parking lot which was excellent. Overall worth the money and glad I stayed!

Nice Getaway

It was clean and perfect for just the two of us! But I did not receive check-in information or check out information from the host and had to request it an hour after check-in, but host was great to get back to me right away. Right by the tracks so it’s a little bit loud with the bed being right by the window, but other than that was a great little place to stay.
