One of a row, it is just 300 yards from the beach and small harbour – reached via winding cobbled streets. It is set on the Heritage Coast in the North York Moors National Park with the extensive sandy beaches of Runswick Bay and Sandsend a short drive, and Whitby, 10 miles. North Yorkshire Moors steam railway nearby. Fishing, golf and riding available locally. Shop and pub 200 yards.

Comfortable, cosy, peaceful

This is a lovely cottage, ideally positioned to see cowbar from the upstairs sitting room and centrally placed in Staithes. The owner was very welcoming and interactions were easy and helpful. The cottage is warm and cosy with everything you need for a lovely comfortable stay to see the beautiful village and surrounding countryside. One of my favourite parts of the world.
