Salvaterra can't lay claim to being the hotel capital of the world. It is, however, home to the Casalgrande Hotel, which is located 3-kilometre from the centre of town.

You could look at the Nuovo Hotel Moderno and the Albergo dei Medaglioni. The Nuovo Hotel Moderno is situated 6 kilometres from the centre of Salvaterra. The Albergo dei Medaglioni is 19 kilometres away. Some more accommodation options worth checking out around Salvaterra include the Hotel Touring and the Hotel Rosso Frizzante.

The broader Emilia-Romagna region is certainly well worth spending some time in also. Emilia-Romagna is known for rural landscapes, as well as commonly visited Emilia-Romagna destinations like the ruins, castles and traditional villages. Common pastimes in this part of Italy include snowboarding and skiing.

It is well known that New Zealanders are pretty chilled, so consider staying a little longer and check out the Church of San Rocco and Church of St. Peter the Apostle, in Campegine, 30 kilometres to the northwest of Salvaterra. The Valdenza and Hotel Tricolore are just some of the hotel and apartment options in Campegine. Or, you could stay in Poviglio, 35 kilometres to the northwest of Salvaterra, where you can choose from the Green Hotel and Hotel Don Camillo. If you're staying in Poviglio, set aside some time to check out the Poviglio Piazza, Poviglio Town Hall and Parish Of St. Stefano Protom.

If sport gives you an adrenaline buzz, be sure to visit Tennis Club, which is 50 kilometres to the east of Salvaterra. The Bed & Breakfast Sant'Eurosia and the Appartamenti Stoppato are near the action.

If you're transiting into or out of Guglielmo Marconi Airport and would like to stay nearby, check out the latest deals at the Casa Lory or the Casa Paradiso.
