New for 2025: We've expanded your outdoor living space with an enlarged pool deck designed to maximize sunshine throughout the day. Inside, enjoy the convenience of a new washer and dryer set. For adventures beyond the property, we've added two kayaks and two beach cruisers – perfect for exploring the sound by water or cruising to nearby shops and restaurants.

Full linens, including sheets (with beds made), bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths provided.
Guests have access to the entire home, pool, and yard.

Guests also have access to the community's private boat ramp and sound dock, just steps away from the house.

The beach is an easy ~10-minute walk from the home with deeded access on Cutlass Ln and Merrimac Ln

Please note that this property has a pool available in season (early April through mid-October) that can be heated for $60 per day of your stay. When pool heat is purchased, pool heaters are set to 80 degrees, but pool temperature cannot be guaranteed. Please reach out to the host if pool heat is required.

We loved this place. It was perfect for our large group..the elevator, extra fridge and the fact there is a bathroom with every room was perfect. We enjoyed the heated pool due to the cool/rainy weather. The sunset view was amazing. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a wonderful OBX property for family fun. We enjoyed walking to the sound pier to fish, and would certainly use the kayaks with more time on our next visit. We loved the thoughtfully designed pool and spa area. Perfect for kids and adults to enjoy together. There’s a beach wagon and chairs for the 10 minute walk to a gorgeous stretch of beach. Plenty of parking, a great neighborhood, comfortable beds throughout. We’ve tried a different OBX house for our annual family gathering for the past five years, and this one stands out. We’ll be back!

We loved having a pool and hot tub to use whenever we were ready. The kitchen was actually fully stocked. Everyone loved there rooms. The fact they were named was super cute. The screen in porch was amazing for our yonger kids to play and not be worried about ledges or stairs. Kevin checked on us and made sure we had a great time. We would definitely want to get this house again.

Exceptional Stay at the Outer Banks!

Frolic Inn was such an amazing place to stay. Conveniently located halfway between Kitty Hawk and Hatteras, we were able to visit Jockey’s Ridge, Wright Brothers Museum, several lighthouses and eat lots of excellent seafood. The beach was close and accessible. The boardwalk to the sound side was just across the street in a quiet residential area and we witnessed the most gorgeous sunsets while watching the kite surfers. We even took the bikes that were provided for a spin around the pretty neighborhood.The house itself was very well equipped to handle 2 of our family members in wheelchairs and my aging parents. The elevator was very helpful and bathrooms were accessible. In general, the house had everything we could want for cooking and comfort. The pool area was inviting. We paid to get the pool heated and it was a delightful temperature to swim at all hours of the day and evening. Our host, Kevin, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and that everything was perfect for our stay.We will definitely be back for more!
