Our stay at the Hyperion Hotel Salzburg was exceptional from start to finish. The location is absolutely perfect—just a 2-minute walk from Mirabell Gardens, making it ideal for exploring Salzburg on foot while still enjoying a quiet, refined atmosphere. The hotel itself is elegant and welcoming. What really sets it apart, though, is the customer attention. The room was very clean on arrival but on several occasions the fridge and coffee amenities were not refilled. The bed was remade each day but the floors were not swept unfortunately.

This might be our favorite hotel ever. It was very elegant but comfortable, the staff were amazing and the location was perfect. We’d definitely stay again.

It was Okay and not anything special overall. The room was spacious with high ceilings - but weird setting with the toilet and faucet on opposite sides. My main complaint was that the pipes or some heating element made clanking noises all night and it was occasionally hard to sleep. Also, for the price of the room I’d have expected better furnishing. The free mini fridge refill was great. On Christmas Eve, the bar staff was pretty rude to me and my 11 year old when we came for the restaurant without a reservation - perhaps they didn’t think we stayed there. It seems the restaurant is very good. Overall, it was a pretty blah experience. I’d suggest staying near the station (save some $$), or stay at another place near the old town.

Hotel is beautiful, staff are so helpful and rooms are clean. We really enjoyed our stay, in a great location to get to all the main sights. Breakfast has lots of choice and free mini bar is an added bonus

This is a nice hotel with easy access to all the xmas markets. The room was good although the bed was uncomfortable, the pillow menu non-existent and noise from the courtyard disturbing at 5am each morning. We were given a pass that gave us free access to all Salzburg public transport which was a nice touch (would be great if this could be sent in advance to get from airport).

Beautiful room in a great location! 10 min walk to main train station and local bus stop was across from hotel making it very easy to get all over the city. Comfortable bed/ pillows, very clean and incredible service especially from both Rami and Dominik that gave wonderful suggestions for things to do around the city and helping me with a train ticket, going above and beyond. Thank you!

The staff were incredibly courteous and helpful. Hotel is centrally located and is walking distance from the train station and the old town. Our room was fantastic! Highly recommend the Hyperion hotel.
