We stayed for two nights, it is a paradise. Best looking place in samana. Food and drinks were amazing. The beach is one step away. Note: staff is very rude, they never smile or say hello. Never asked if we needed anything or if we wanted something else to drink or eat. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Armando at the cook to order was the only person to offer a smile and was very attentive to his guests. Checkin was not very welcoming. The person tended to fix a cabinet of sunglasses for sale rather than attend to us. He took his time doing so. Overall we had an amazing time here. They really need to work with personnel..

Mosquito is known for being a busy beach bar and restaurant. While other places nearby are close to empty Mosquito will be full. This is due to a combination of factors such as parking facility, good food, and great beach. If you are looking for quiet explore other areas.

Security is on site and makes parking easier if you show your room key. The food and drinks are amazing. The decor is beachy and property is well lit and very clean. Staff members are friendly and accommodating. There is a walkway along the beach to access other hotels and their restaurants. The bar and restaurant area can be noisy during the afternoon and evening hours due to their popularity with the locals and patrons of other hotels. The AC unit in the room seems to only truly cool the room down at night to a tolerable degree.

Overall the property is beautiful and well maintained by the very friendly staff. The food and drinks (I highly recommend the mojito and fried empanadas) at the bar and restaurant are amazing. The A/C in the room was subpar and parking was difficult during the afternoon/evening hours due to the locals having access to the beach and bar/restaurant. Security will find a parking spot for you if you show your room key.

The hotel is super clean and the food is great. Is very touristic and a little too busy than what we expected since a lot of people come and go at the property that are not staying at the hotel.

We really enjoyed our one-night stay at The Mosquito. The quality of the food at the onsite restaurant exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they handled our last-minute request for a late check-out with ease, which we truly appreciated.The hotel’s standout feature is its beachfront location. While it’s not a white-sand beach, the light golden-beige sand is soft and fine, and the water is crystal-clear. Overall, there's a tranquil and relaxing beach vibe at The Mosquito.

This place what can I say esthetically it is beautiful! But there's to many dogs, our room had issues the bathroom light went off omit took them a day to fix, our AC was leaking really bad so they had us change rooms and offered no help........
