We found dead bedbugs on the bed and they could not accommodate us in any other rooms. They checked us out and only accepted the refund! Nothing for the inconvenience and trouble they caused us. I had to find another place (more expensive obviously). Expedia provided some little compensation (One key cash) from their benefit I would say, not enough to cover the price difference even.

Most of the staff was attentive and friendly. I do wish that the professionalism was slightly more elevated where phones are not allowed at the registration desk. Maybe I'm old school. My room could have been cleaner, too. There were finger nail clippings and hairs on the bathroom counter, and the shower was a bit dingy. The shower was nice and hot with good water pressure though. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. I do wish there was an iron and ironing board in the room. The gym was great and I was very happy with the equipment. I also loved the art on the walls on the mezzanine level which I think more people should know about it!

We enjoyed our stay and the staff were all very friendly. The A/C was a bit loud and being by a major highway entrance was also a little loud. I wish I could have parked up for my two day stay because $30 a night when my car never left the premises was a bit much. That is why I stay within walking distance, to not have to drive. Everything else was great and the room was clean and very big.

Beautiful and clean room, very comfortable bed, great shower. Loved the proximity to the Riverwalk! Use the hotel valet parking and walk to downtown. Otherwise you will fight traffic and pay for parking twice!

The room smelled musty like there had been a recent water leak. We also found a device in the room that is used to collect moisture from the air, telling me there was a leak at some point. The window was locked shut with a screw so we couldn't even open the window to air the room out a bit. It was a terrible smell for the entirety of our stay. Besides that, the hotel is nice and in a convenient area to get to the Convention Centre and to downtown San Antonio. The rooms are decent sized. The front desk when we arrived seem more concerned with watching her phone than checking us in and kept trying to overcharge me because she couldn't see that I had already pre-paid on Expedia. The front desk staff at check-out was very nice and attentive and let us leave our bags for a few hours before we needed to go to the airport.

We were facing Commerce St (2nd floor) and it was in my personal opinion very loud. You can hear the people walking, talking, laughing. Normally it doesnt bother me but at 2 .. 3 in the morning is not nice.
