Villa Breezy Way - Among Greenery, San Bartolomeo al Mare, Italy

High in the lush green hills, just 5 minutes from the resort of San Bartolomeo, this villa combines the best of both worlds; the peace of the hills with the excitement of the coast. The house, which sleeps 6 people, is split over two floors with an open-plan living/dining area on the top floor and the bedrooms downstairs. It makes an excellent base for an idyllic holiday, either with family or friends.

Elegant steps lead down to the villa, through the private garden and across the terrace into the living room. Inside there is an attractive corner sofa, a large flat-screen TV and the dining table, which seats 6. A second door leads out to another terrace at the back of the villa. The separate kitchen is just off the dining area. The kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and coffee pod machine.

Sleeping
Bedroom 1: The spacious master bedroom has a double bed, sofa, flat-screen TV, extensive wardrobes and French windows which lead out onto the lower terrace.
Bedroom 2: The second bedroom has large arched double doors leading to the lower terrace. It is furnished with a double bed, a large wardrobe and a sofa.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable double bed.

Bathrooms
Bathroom 1: The modern, fresh bathroom, has a glass shower, basin, bidet, washing machine and WC.
Bathroom 2: This smaller bathroom has a bath with a shower head, basin, bidet and WC.

The outside space has been as carefully laid out as the interiors. There is a shaded outdoor kitchen, with a BBQ and carved stone sink. The terrace is furnished with a table and chairs for dining al fresco. Children will love the outside playhouse.

Location
The resort town of San Bartolomeo al Mare has some of the best amenities of any of the towns on the Ligurian coast. It makes an excellent destination for a family holiday. A wide beach runs along the front of the town and there are both public and paying private areas.

Away from the coast, there are easy walks and cycle routes through the lush hills to traditional Ligurian villages. The area is particularly well-known for its olive groves and fine olive oil. The small town of Cervo (9 minutes) is considered to be one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.

For self-catering San Bartolomeo’s weekly market (Monday morning) is a treasure trove of local produce, which you can then enjoy back home. Otherwise, there are many smaller shops and supermarkets within easy reach.

The closest airport is Genoa Airport, a 1 hour and 20-minute drive from the apartment.
